DESTINATION
Mashhad Customs or Tehran West? Name the destination clearly
For a China–Iran road freight enquiry, “Iran” is not a complete destination. Name Mashhad Customs or Tehran West Customs. Iran entry is via Sarakhs, but Sarakhs is not a sellable destination. A precise destination makes the Iranian leg, timing and quote clearer.
- Sellable destinations: Mashhad Customs and Tehran West Customs
- Iran entry is via Sarakhs
- Wuqia ranges currently differ by destination
- CPT / DAP to customs; the buyer clears
When to name Mashhad
If the cargo should be delivered to Mashhad Customs, write that in the enquiry. On the Wuqia line, the current range from the Wuqia border to Mashhad is 18–21 days direct and 24–28 days by transshipment. It is counted from the border and is not guaranteed.
When to name Tehran West
If handover is at Tehran West Customs, Shahriyar or Aprin, name that destination. On the Wuqia line, the current range from the Wuqia border to Tehran is 21–23 days direct and 26–30 days by transshipment. A direct truck still has one transload at Bukhara.
When one order has two destinations
If some goods go to Mashhad and some to Tehran, send separate sections: product, HS code, gross weight and volume for each destination. One combined total hides the destination split. Whether the cargo can be split must be confirmed in the written response.
Khorgos and clearance
We publish no Khorgos day count; ask for timing in the quote for that shipment. After arrival at destination customs, Iran clearance belongs to the buyer and their broker. The service is not door-to-door or DDP.
