Uzbekistan on the China–Iran corridor: a transit country, with a mid-route drop option
Both the Wuqia and Khorgos lines transit Uzbekistan; Bukhara is where a direct truck is transloaded once. Cargo for Tashkent or Samarkand can be dropped en route — but that is a separate waybill, quoted separately. Transit through Uzbekistan is not the same as delivery in Uzbekistan.
- Uzbekistan is a transit country on both the Wuqia and the Khorgos line; Bukhara is the transload point for a direct truck
- Cargo for Uzbek cities can be dropped mid-route on a separate waybill
- The 0.4% invoice-value tax is a Kyrgyzstan transit tax (Wuqia line), not an Uzbek import duty
- The main product is China → Iran (Tehran Customs, currently 21–23 days from the Wuqia crossing)
Transit is not delivery
The goods pass through Uzbekistan sealed under TIR. To unload there needs its own waybill and clearance.
Don't map the Iran numbers onto Uzbekistan
The 21–23 days (from the Wuqia crossing) is to Tehran Customs, not Tashkent. The 0.4% is the Kyrgyzstan transit tax, not an Uzbek tariff.
If Uzbekistan is your destination
Say so in the enquiry, with the destination city; it is quoted case by case.
No published rates. To get a quote, send three things: the origin hub; the destination customs (Tehran West Customs / Aprin / Mashhad); and the cargo data — HS code, gross weight in kg, volume in CBM.
